About Me

I write for the masses. The bourgeois and the ratchet... Actually, I write for me and hopefully someone else enjoys what they read. 

Born and raised on the southside of Chicago, I began writing poetry in seventh grade. I am a former Young Chicago Author, a wife, a mom, the older sister to eleven and friend to many. While writing is my passion, everyday I review college applications, teach a bit, and put out small fires here and there. I'm deeply passionate about post-secondary exploration and college access. I also dabble in crafting and aspire to be a badass seamstress. 

This blog will be as random as I am but I've narrowed it down to a few words; Life, vulnerability, unspoken truths & great and not so good beverages. Come sit and see how the world looks from a semi domestic, professional, creative and "traditionally educated" woman... Bare with me I'm a virgin to this blog game.
